Post Season

All Stars
All Star teams consist of the best players at a particular age group within the league. The design is to field the most competitive team as the intent is to win against other Little League All Star teams. Certain rules may differ from regular season rules (e.g., you do not bat the roster and minimum play times are very different as you have starters and substitute players) and players may be played in positions different from what they primarily played during the season.

All-Star Post-Season Commitment
There is a significant time commitment required to participate in All-Star play as teams usually practice six days per week, often two times per day, from June 15th until their first tournament begins. Significant out-of-town travel may also be required as teams advance further into post-season play. Families that want to be considered for post-season play should try to schedule summer vacations accordingly.

Honors
The league’s goal is that all kids who sign up for Honors will play on a team. Honors teams are formed differently than All Star teams - All Star teams are formed first and then Honors teams are formed with other players; if there are enough players for multiple teams, players are "drafted" onto the different Honors teams in order to create teams that are as equal as possible.

Honors Post-Season Commitment
Honors teams have a whirlwind couple of weeks, with about a week of practice followed immediately by a local-area tournament.  Please plan to be at all practices and games during that time.
